JESSICA RUFFNER
Jessica has been an early childhood educator in San Francisco for 15 years. A graduate of San Francisco State University, Jessica received her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Mills College before joining the Children's Center at Google. It was here that she discovered a passion for creating unique, dynamic, and beautiful learning environments for young children.

Inspired by Reggio Emilia's theory around environments, she strives to create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces tailored to each child's development and interests. Jessica uses natural, recycled, and repurposed materials as much as possible, as they lend themselves to create open-ended experiences that tap into children's curiosity, expand creativity, and provide a lens to observe their thinking and how children make meaning of the world around them.

Her mission is to collaborate with families and educators to provide rich and stimulating play spaces that are tailored to the needs of each child, family, and classroom.
